Dr. Darian Lockett is Associate Professor of New Testament at the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. He’s been a Ruling Elder, Assistant Pastor, and member of Trinity PCA in Orange County, CA as well as teaching at Biola since 2007. His research interests include the General Letters (James-Jude), hermeneutics (how to read the Bible), theological interpretation, and political/economic philosophies in Scripture. He’s written many books on the General Epistles (especially on James and Jude), biblical theology, and many articles and chapters in other edited volumes.
Join us as Dr. Lockett guides us through the letters of James to Jude, why they are called “Catholic” Epistles, how this helps us understand their meaning, and some apologetic responses to critical questions on 2-3 John and 1-2 Peter!
We want to thank IVP Academic for setting up this interview and providing us with the necessary materials to interview Dr. Lockett!
